Family and General Practitioners Salary Information in Puerto Rico

The average annual and hourly salaries for family and general practitioners in the state of Puerto Rico are shown in Table 1 and Table 2, respectively. The comparison of the salary statistics of family and general practitioners among Puerto Rico areas is shown in Table 3. The salary statistics are based on the national compensation survey conducted by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics in 2014 and published in May 2015 [1].

We note that the median annual salary of family and general practitioners in state of Puerto Rico ranges from $52,140 to $72,760. The highest paying area for family and general practitioners in Puerto Rico is Ponce with a median annual salary of $72,760. The second highest paying city/area in Puerto Rico State is Aguadilla-Isabela-San Sebastian (mean annual salary $66,000). The lowest paying area is Mayaguez with a median annual salary of $52,140.
