Interpreters and Translators Salary Information in Puerto Rico

The average annual and hourly salaries for interpreters and translators in the state of Puerto Rico are shown in Table 1 and Table 2, respectively. The comparison of the salary statistics of interpreters and translators among Puerto Rico metropolitan areas is shown in Table 3. The salary statistics are based on the national compensation survey conducted by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics in 2014 and published in May 2015 [1].

We note that in 2013 the average salary increased by 2.15%. We also note that the average annual wage had a relatively large growth of 3.93% in the year 2012 and a sizable increase of 46.37% in 2011.
