We note that the median annual salary of legislators in state of New Mexico ranges from $18,520 to $20,180. The highest paying area for legislators in New Mexico is North and West Central New Mexico nonmetropolitan area with a median annual salary of $20,180. The second highest paying city/area in New Mexico State is Albuquerque (mean annual salary $19,930). The lowest paying area is Southwestern New Mexico nonmetropolitan area with a median annual salary of $18,520.
