Table 2 shows the average hourly salary for all occupations in Washington in 5 percentile scales. The average hourly salary for the 90th percentile is $45.41. The median hourly salary is $19.47. The average hourly salary for the bottom 10 percent is $9.78.
Table 3 shows the median annual salary of all occupations in some Washington cities and metropolitan areas. We note that the median annual salary of all occupations in state of Washington ranges from $31,810 to $46,130. The highest paying area for all occupations in Washington is Seattle-Bellevue-Everett with a median annual salary of $46,130. The second highest paying city/area in Washington State is Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue (mean annual salary $44,750). The lowest paying area is Lewiston with a median annual salary of $31,810.
