Table 2 shows the average hourly salary for all occupations in Colorado in 5 percentile scales. The average hourly salary for the 90th percentile is $43.55. The median hourly salary is $17.84. The average hourly salary for the bottom 10 percent is $8.88.
Table 3 shows the median annual salary of all occupations in some Colorado cities and metropolitan areas. We note that the median annual salary of all occupations in state of Colorado ranges from $28,850 to $41,370. The highest paying area for all occupations in Colorado is Boulder with a median annual salary of $41,370. The second highest paying city/area in Colorado State is Denver-Aurora-Broomfield (mean annual salary $39,220). The lowest paying area is East and South Colorado nonmetropolitan area with a median annual salary of $28,850.
