Table 2 shows the average hourly salary for all occupations in Ohio in 5 percentile scales. The average hourly salary for the 90th percentile is $36.68. The median hourly salary is $16.03. The average hourly salary for the bottom 10 percent is $8.57.
Table 3 shows the median annual salary of all occupations in some Ohio cities and metropolitan areas. We note that the median annual salary of all occupations in state of Ohio ranges from $28,260 to $35,540. The highest paying area for all occupations in Ohio is Cleveland-Elyria-Mentor with a median annual salary of $35,540. The second highest paying city/area in Ohio State is Columbus (mean annual salary $35,090). The lowest paying area is Eastern Ohio nonmetropolitan area with a median annual salary of $28,260.
