What professions added the most jobs in USA? In this article we look into this issue from two angles. First we show the top 50 jobs that added the most workers from 2010 to 2012 (Table 1). Secondly we show the top 50 jobs that had the highest growth rate from year 2010 to 2012 (Table 2). The employment and salary information in USA is computed from data published by BLS [1].
Table 1 shows the top 50 jobs that added the most workers from 2010 to 2012. We note that from 2010 to 2012, the total employment in the United States increased from 127,097,160 to 130,287,700 with a net gain of 3,190,540. The profession that added the most jobs in the same period is the profession of food preparation and serving related occupations with 519,540 jobs added. It is followed by the profession of sales and related occupations with 519,540 job added.

It is followed by the profession of radio, cellular, and tower equipment installers and repairs which grew by 64.55% in the same period.
