Table 2 shows the average hourly salary for all occupations in Utah in 5 percentile scales. The average hourly salary for the 90th percentile is $36.22. The median hourly salary is $15.75. The average hourly salary for the bottom 10 percent is $8.61.
Table 3 shows the median annual salary of all occupations in some Utah cities and metropolitan areas. We note that the median annual salary of all occupations in state of Utah ranges from $26,910 to $34,970. The highest paying area for all occupations in Utah is Salt Lake City with a median annual salary of $34,970. The second highest paying city/area in Utah State is Northern Utah nonmetropolitan area (mean annual salary $34,670). The lowest paying area is South Western Utah nonmetropolitan area with a median annual salary of $26,910.
