Table 2 shows the average hourly salary for all occupations in Kentucky in 5 percentile scales. The average hourly salary for the 90th percentile is $33.20. The median hourly salary is $14.78. The average hourly salary for the bottom 10 percent is $8.36.
Table 3 shows the median annual salary of all occupations in some Kentucky cities and metropolitan areas. We note that the median annual salary of all occupations in state of Kentucky ranges from $26,650 to $32,950. The highest paying area for all occupations in Kentucky is Louisville-Jefferson County with a median annual salary of $32,950. The second highest paying city/area in Kentucky State is Evansville (mean annual salary $31,000). The lowest paying area is South Central Kentucky nonmetropolitan area with a median annual salary of $26,650.
